The Way of Santiago, like all the ways of pilgrimage, is a route that begins from countless origins and has a final destination in Santiago de Compostela.
It is certainly a route that we can map, describe or document. But going through that route is not always synonymous with doing the Way. Make the Way always must be pilgrimage. Go to a Holy or Sacred destination, regardless of how each person understands that sacraality.
It would be enough to be aware of what leads each person to walk the Way and from there know how to distinguish between "travel it" or "do it."
The different forms of accreditation that exist to record that they have done the Way do not discriminate between those who travel it and those who do. For those who make the Way the value of such credits is for the person himself.
Where one can best keep the Credentials of the Way or hang the Compostel that is obtained in Santiago, it is in the heart of every pilgrim. That is where you should have your place to remind us and update us our Ways, what we experience making themand remind us where and with whom we live.
Make the Way and know where to stop
Walking the Way of Santiago is much more than walking. Know where to rest and how to plan each stage It makes you enjoy the experience more. In Navarra, the Albergue Meson del Camino is an ideal place to rest before or after stages of the French or Aragonese Way.
