The church of San Tirso in Sahagún is one of the outstanding examples of medieval architecture on the Land of Campos Leonese and a historic milestone of the Way of Santiago. Founded around the 12th century, its representative architecture of Spanish-Latvian Mudejar art, with successive reforms— It reflects the stylistic transformations and religious functions that accompanied the pilgrim over the centuries. Sahagún, known as "La Cluny de España," retains a unique heritage where San Tirso is a key part of the cultural itinerary.

The model seeks to reproduce the monumental presence of the church, with special attention in the proportion of the volumes, the articulation of the architectural elements and the reading of its facades. The model conveys the sense of solidity and monumental that characterizes the original building, allowing to appreciate in small the features that make San Tirso unique within the historical landscape of the Way.
